Meet the cats at Cats Protection Summer Fun Day

Cats Protection's National Cat Adoption Centre has announced a fantastic line-up of events for its Summer Fun Day on Sunday, July 1.

The centre, in Chelwood Gate, near Haywards Heath, will be opening its doors from 10am until 4pm for a fun-packed day of activities for all the family.

Visitors will be able to get a rare glimpse of what goes on at the UK's largest cat rehoming centre, with behind-the-scenes tours of the 202-pen facility – and meet some of the many unwanted or abandoned cats looking for a new home.

Staff will be on hand to offer cat care advice while there will also be many stalls and attractions including a bouncy castle, face painting and raffle.

Tania Marsh, Deputy Manager of the National Cat Adoption Centre, said: “Our Summer Fun Day is one of the highlights of our calendar and is a great celebration of all things feline.

“If you're looking to adopt a cat we'll have staff on hand to offer advice and help you choose your perfect pet. Even if you're not looking to adopt a cat, please come and say hello to the cats in our care – they'd love to see you!”

To find out more about the event, please call the National Cat Adoption Centre on 01825 741 330.

The National Cat Adoption Centre is situated in Chelwood Gate, on the A275 between Wych Cross and Danehill. For a map and directions to the National Cat Adoption Centre, please visit http://www.cats.org.uk/find-us/find-the-ncc/
