St Peter & St James Hospice: Challenge yourself in 2012!

At St Peter & St James Hospice we are always looking for that “one event”, the one that will grab our supporter’s attention and get them raising money for us. So for November 2011 and through 2012 have a look at what we’ve got going on!

Fire Walk: Do you Dare? Held at the Potters Pub, Station Road, Burgess Hill on Friday 25th November. Great as a team building exercise as well as an amazing challenge and life experience. £10 entry fee minimum £100 sponsorship, advance entry only.

Barn Dance: Howdy Pardners! Come and join St Peter & St James Hospice for a rootin, tootin Barn Dance on Saturday 4th February. Tickets are only £15 and include a light supper (vegetarian option available) at the Burgess Hill School for Girls. There will be a live band, complete with caller (So all you rookies won’t be left sittin’ on them hay bales because you don’t know the moves!) With Harvey’s Best for sale at a very reasonable price – can you afford to miss it?

Marathons: London and Brighton Places available for 2012. £25 entry fee and £500 sponsorship for Brighton, £50 entry fee and £2,000 sponsorship for London.

Sahara Trek: 14th-19th April 2012. Take on the inhospitable environment of the beautiful Sahara Desert on this five-day charity challenge. You will experience the hustle and bustle of buzzing Marrakech and learn about the day-to-day life of the nomadic Berber people as you trek through the desert. Each night you will have the chance to sleep under the stars, eat incredible food cooked in the traditional Berber way and fall asleep to the sound of the crackling campfire and the gentle snores of the camels. We are asking for a £300 registration fee and £1,300 minimum sponsorship.
